donotmicrowave Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 A few days ago, I told my boyfriend that I happened to check his FaceBook account since I needed a picture of him for specific reasons (I don't have FB or Instagram myself), and we got into a bit of an argument because of how close he is to his ex. Her mother calls him "son in law", as a joke.. It pissed me off, though it's none of my business now. I stumbled upon all that when I saw his most recent post, about him going to Sweden to become a pro-athlete. Of course I'm really proud of him. Right after the argument, he apologized, said it was wrong of him, and he took the post down. He told me he did it because other girls were "checking him out" and he didn't find it comfortable or something like that.. The next day, I find out that his Instagram is private, while his FaceBook is still open to public. He doesn't even post on Instagram, really. It kind of upsets me, though. His Instagram has never been private. I'm probably overthinking everything, but it's confusing as hell. What does it mean *We get along really well right now. We broke up a week ago, and he's told me he's started to enjoy talking to me again and what not*
Blanco Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 It means he doesn't want you checking up on him, which he sees as a valid concern, since you told him you were going through his FB pictures. If he's your ex, he doesn't really have to explain his reason for doing anything like this, unfortunately.
