On a related note, if your bf of several months doesn't give or do anything for you on V Day, is that bad?

 

Because mine is stingy and I'm considering running for the hills before he gets a chance to not give me anything.

I started dating my gf just a couple of weeks before her birthday. She told me not to give her anything. I didn't fall for that trap. I gave her a birthday card saying I'm glad we met and a small signed mermaid print that I thought matched her decor.

Yeah it is bad. A guy who cares about you would do something... at least a box of chocolates if its just initial stages...

I try to leave relationships on a good note...well on my end at least

 

He probably didnt deserve that but I try to take the high road during break ups (except for once)

 

Yeah its during such times that you show your standards and dignity by how well you end things.
