Logo Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Always remember after a relationship ends that it can be worse. Feel lucky and be happy if you have a roof over your head, you have food on your table, you're healthy, you have a job, and you have clothes to keep you warm. 1
Deadmeat Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Yes, I agree. One of the reasons I was able to cope was because I read up on individuals who did not have the luxuries I did. I'm not even talking about materialistic things, but basic needs like food and shelter. I also remembered my trip to Nicaragua and remembered how lucky I was yo even have hot water. It made me feel more thankful for what I already have. And in a weird way, made me feel that I wasn't alone with my pain. There were many others who were there with me. And that gave me peace.
GirlInTrouble Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I can't see a point in life with a roof, food, job etc without sharing all of these with those I love and who love you back. Having no love can kill fast or slow. I thrive on love.
