I work in a very public venue and have constant interaction with customers, which I LOVE.

A few days ago, I was talking to a few of my customers about my online dating experiences. They like to laugh at my pain lol... i find it amusing as well believe me.

Anyway, one of my customers, whom I have had the biggest crush on looks at me and says, "you are a beautiful girl, with an amazing personality. you need to stop saying yes to these losers and settling for the bottom of the barrel."

I sat there with my mouth open for a minute, unsure of what to say. Then I said, "aww thank you".

Now, I'm wondering if I shouldn't lay the flirt on him a little more? Maybe ask him out? I have had conversations with him before, hes divorced and tried dating a bit for awhile, and he said it just never panned out so he stopped looking. Does that mean he isn't interested in a relationship or dating right now?

I'm perplexed as to what to do. He's a regular customer and I don't want him to feel uncomfortable. Does his comment to me mean he would be interested or was he just being nice?

Well, since no one told me if this guy was possibly interested me or not, I took actions into my own hands and have been laying on the flirt a lot more.

We'll see what happens. So far hes been flirting back.. maybe I'll get up the courage to give him my number soon lol

Either he does have an interest, or he's just trying to bolster you.

Is he much older than you? Sometimes older people feel comfortable talking that way to younger people simply because they assume it won't be taken as flirting...if that makes sense.

Otherwise, sure, flirt and see where it goes! What a kind and sweet thing for him to say.

Translation "I want to bang you" :)

Yea, he sounds into you. Guys don't typically throw lines like this at a girl unless they are interested. I know I don't.

Tough thing is most men are afraid to ask a girl out nowadays thanks to what society has become.

If you feel bold enough to ask him out but afraid of creating an awkward situation, you can say you're going to XXXXX, and he should come along.

But honestly, I think women prefer a man to take the initiative. He really needs to ask you out. Keep sending the signals and dropping hints and if he has any balls he will.
