Vicky49 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Hi everyone, Its been a few days reading around this forum and enjoying it. I have been married for almost 30 years and have 2 wonderful kids. I have finally made the decision and am sticking to it to go through and separate from my husband. It was not an easy decision. I know it is what I want and what is best for me but I feel guilty. Is it so bad to be selfish for once?

I am the one who is being affected by a similar decision and can honestly say that if he has given you a great life then maybe you should consider why you are doing this, guilty feelingso are normal but if the guilt is because you worry how is going to cope then that's not a valid reason, if your guilt is because you are unsure of if it's the right decision then I think you need to sit down and talk things through before you loose or damage it forever.
