berry1 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 So after spending far too much time debating on if i had been friend zoned by girls i know in my day to day life, i just kind of thought forget this and decided to stop perusing and wasting time on any of the situationsLong story short i decided to try one of the paid service online dating sites. Couple of days later i end up having daily conversation texts with a girl i met online. She seemed to be very interested and we shared pics back and forth for a while. From our conversations i think we have a heck of a lot in common. Obviously i wont know for sure unless/till we meet but from our chats we always seem on the same wave length. So i taken the plunge and asked her to meet me but said no worries if your not ready. She responded instantly by saying don't be silly of course i want to x. I only got this message like 5 hours later because i was running out to go shopping and just snapped her on the way out. Yes i know never a good idea to keep a woman waiting After this i snapped her and she said that she was having a very bad day as a friend had passed away! I told her that i was really sorry to hear this and that if she needed anything or a good listener that she could contact me anytime she wanted. (Serious offer i do like being there for people). We had a chat about a few other things then i assume she went to bed as it was pretty late. She opened my last snap that i sent her probably after she gone bed today but hasn't replied yet. Perfectly understandable due to the loss she has recently suffered. My question is, should i back off? considering her friend passed away? I feel that if i back off she will lose interest quickly but then if i don't back off and ask her if she still wants to meet then im just going to look like a insensitive P****. Can anyone offer me any advice regarding this? im not just looking to charm a girl for a quick fling so the outcome of this is somewhat important to me. And damn! i hope she don't browse loveshack lol
smackie9 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 First off stop shooting yourself in the foot....when you say "If you don't want to meet, that's ok" is negative and says 'I have no self confidence in myself" ....this kind of talk is a turn off to any potential love interest. This is what guys have told me: whatever you were doing in the past, do the opposite. 1

Would that be fine despite her losing her friend this week?
