Pugwash Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I broke up with my ex fiance around 7 weeks ago, she kept contacting me for about 3 weeks then gave up. I only made contact when I found she had gotten into a new relationship only a month or so after we broke up and gave her a big piece of my mind, I said some very mean things but I have since apologized but you know what I'm raging I did. The last message I sent her was over 2 and a half weeks ago to ask for closure but she wouldn't.....

She initiated contact after 3 months NC. It was solid NC and I was moving on, but still not over her Has anyone every gotten back with an ex a 2nd, 3rd or 4th time and did it work? We started communicating again and saw each other a number of times over the next 4-5 months but never officially tried to get back. The push and pull from her was unbearable. I finally told her that if we aren't going to truly try again, that we should no longer be in contact. It's been 1-1/2 yrs since I told her that. We have had zero contact and I've finally become indifferent to her and have acceptedeverything.Wish I had not replied to her initial contact. I was in no condition to handle it. There will not be another chance for us and I'm still single and have absolutely no idea what is going on with her.

How can some people whinge and give out so much over the smallest of things? Sure we all had some great things with our ex partners "but" I know so many people especially older couples who absolutely hate eachother deep down and are just staying together for the sake of it. Why would you want to live your life like that? I could have stayed with my ex and listened to the nagging constantly because there were times she was ok and I found her extremely attractive! Yet I was being hounded for everything that wasn't tailored to make her happy to the point once she was catered for that was all that mattered! I mean WTF these aren't relationships and I will advise anyone who has any doubts about a relationship to get out and put yourself first.
