I like to sketch and paint. Last evening I made a sketch of one of my guy friends who I think is cute. Will it be creepy if I show it to him?

I was going over some pictures and found one of his to be very attractive and started to sketch.

is he shirtless wrestling an alligator in your sketch?

if not then i say show him.

only if you want to sleep with him.

otherwise, yeah, it's kinda creepy.

Ha ha no.... its a normal portrait.

Your answer is confusing.... if it is creepy then how would it lead to him sleeping with me if I show it to him... HA HA HA :laugh:

I don't know why you think it might be creepy unless you really don't know him that well in which case it might come across that way. Are you attracted to him? Be prepared for him to think so if you show him the picture

I don't think it's creepy at all.

You're a friend after all, not a random person, who likes to be artistic.

Heck, I know a painter who asks guys she knows to pose as hides.

Artists are always looking for opportunities to paint, draw, etc

But I detect perhaps a little crush? No?

It's sexy as hell if he's attracted to you. Creepy if he's not. Sometimes you have to put yourself out there...

Pose for her I meant. Not as hides! Darn cell phone!

Agreed. This is one of those situations where two people can do the exact same thing and get completely different results.

Yeah, I don't know, just something about that picture attracted me so much I had to sketch it.... and then normally I would not think twice before sending it to a friend... but now I am thinking... LOL

I know him but he is not a very close friend that I see everyday...

I think there's another question we need to be asking here...which is:

Where did you find one of his pictures to sketch?

If it's a picture he gave you personally, or you found in your cell phone that you took say one evening while the two of you were out having fun, then cool.

But if it's a picture you found on his Facebook page or in the school yearbook...then yea....that's def = CREEPY!!! Lol..

You really bring out a great point...!!!

It's a picture taken in a trip of which he and I were part of in recent past... and it is in my Facebook album. I was going through all pictures and choosing which ones to upload into Facebook and I found this solo pic of his, which I have uploaded and tagged him.

Hmmm..... Well, if it was your picture that you uploaded on your fb page, then maybe that's okay.

Either way, is there a reason why you HAVE to show the sketch to him??

Yea they probably will!!

But hey, if you guys are close, maybe it may get the ball rolling?

Do you sense that he might be interested in you too?

No not really,... no reason to show him...

I dont know if he may be interested or not....

Anyways 2 things will happen - he will not be interested (think I am creepy or whatever)... or he will be interested n then after some time it will end badly... I can't deal with one more ghosting with what happened with me very recently... yet to get over that... so....

If a girl I was at least somewhat interested in dd that I'd find it very sexy.

If a girl I had no romantic interest in whatsoever did it I would probably find it slightly creepy but be polite about it.

Not sure why people are calling it as "sexy"

Because making a sketch takes time, time you have spent focussed on HIM, focussed on his face and on his body and that is sexy, IF he likes you.

If he doesn't like you in that way, it is creepy because it is then seen as a violation of his personal space.

The only way I think it would be creepy, is if you had that kind of reputation. Having a crush on someone, and sketching their picture, hell, I'd be flattered if it were me.

He knows I sketch and he wanted to see them n asked me couple of times but I feel shy showing my sketchbook to people in general so I never showed it to him and said I will show u later...

Well, maybe you can show him your OTHER sketches, and if he likes them, just say: "Well, I could sketch one of you too if you want..." :D

See what his reaction is.

IF he says: "Yea sure!" and seems enthusiastic, then you can wait a couple of weeks and then show him the sketch you already have of him without any fear lol.

But if he seems kind of creeped out by it, or gets weird about it, then don't show it to him haha.

Problem solved. ;)

You can avoid the creepy aspect totally: draw the picture, but change the face :) No need to tell anyone at all who the body is based on. Heck, since it's a personal pic, you can even draw it nude and no one will get embarrassed! :) :)
