Angeleyez2583 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I am a terrible person.. I've been dating this guy whom treats me well. I think most of you have read my posts about him. He's exactly the opposite from my ex. He is DEF not a sweet guy. That's what one expects from an ex frat/football player I guess. We're supposed to go to a hotel tonight b/c he is going to visit his friend in jail. I mean, he spends money on me, and I love the fact heis sarcastic. I only see him like two times a week, so it's moving slow and I like that. But he SCARES me. He's a sweet guy but the whole macho thing turns him into a sarcastic pos sometimes. We've been together for a month. Here's the catch.. I've known this new guy for awhile. He is sooooo sweet and sooo nice. Likes to cuddle. Kissed me and held my hand in front of his friends ( i thought it was cute lol). I only went over to his place last night because I thought they were going downtown, and found out he really likes me. We didn't end up going down town. Of course I played into it. But he is such a nice guy. And I have feelings for him too........Two guys... this was so much easier in highschool b/c I never cared. In college, I guess I developed a conscience. Anyone have any good advice in this situation. I feel AWFUL!!!!

Sometimes the sarcastic bastards turn out to be the decent ones, whilst the sweet and doting ones are secretly villains who'd tie you to a busy railtrack for the price of a cup of tea. Then other times, both types are exactly what they say they are on the tin. Why is the sarcastic guy's friend in jail? You say he scares you sometimes, and I'm not sure I like the sound of that. Personally I'd stick with the nice guy, presuming you have chemistry with both of them - but I think you'll just have to go with your instincts.

Look at how many posts from angry and emotionally distraught women are on this board for the reason that their man is doing this to them. As most women like to call men every nasty name in the book for not committing, or straying, I have no sympathy for you. It doesn't matter if you like both of them - you're going to end up hurting, or misleading one or both of them. Sometimes it's good to consider others feelings besides your own
Swamp Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 The 1 thing you need to do is be open about it. It is a good way to test their intentions and gauge how much they actually do like you, or how much they will want to tie you down and control your life. Tell both of them about the other one. I am sure their reactions will help you make your decision.
