Okay I was having a bad day because my friend said some stuff about me. I guess I let it get to me and had a somber appearance after that I had to get where I was going. I was looking down when I look up she was passing by.

Different people have different non verbal cues. Also different cultures.

 

My son tightens one side of his mouth and tilts his head when he is concentrating, my daughter does it when she is irritated. Exact same expression, two totally different meanings.

 

So, this person closing eyes and smiling may be fake, or may not be. You have to get to know the person.

so I'm going to have to ask what that was about because she usually smiles at me with her eyes open. I guess if you want to know something you have to ask that person. Thank you for sharing your insight.
