We've seen each other's photos and have Facebook messenger chatted. But never have talked on the phone nor seen each other on video or person. He's deployed until Feb. sooo nervous! Anyone have any stories out there about your first online encounters? Words of wisdom??
bluefeather Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Some people are different through video than on the phone. Don't be surprised if you or him get a little camera shy, nervous, quiet, etc. Just have fun with it. Give tours of your house or room. Stuff like that.

And when I say be careful, I mean don't get caught up in any sexy shenanigans until you're certain you can trust the person on the other end. So often men will say and do whatever they can to get you on cam so as to build trust only to then slowly ease into making women do things they normally wouldn't do nor want to do online until it's too late. Don't be fooled by the fact that if you don't do something he might lose interest, I don't care how cute, adorable, sweet or sexy he might be. Too many good women have been made fools of playing that game, don't be yet another statistic. I have no idea what your story is or if that's even an issue for you but hearing that he's deployed in some far off land makes me a bit suspicious of his true intentions so just be on guard. Other than that, relax, take it all with a grain of salt and enjoy. Good luck.
Author whatwhit Posted December 16, 2016 Author Posted December 16, 2016 Well I think it went well. He originally told me he could on really talk 5 to 10 mins. Due to lack of sleep - which I dont blame him. I heard deployments are hard. But we ended up chatting for 30 to 40 mins I feel kind of bad for that. He also messaged me on Facebook afterwards letting me know he's happy we finally got the chance to video chat. So all good signs. Trying not to get my hopes up too much. When he gets back he could go on a female crazy frenzy. 1
