At the start of the second date, she gave me a piece of cake from her birthday after we joked about it previously. On that date, we joked about rubix cubes and trying to solve them, etc. I was wondering if I should buy her one and bring it on the third date as a silly little gift for her? Or is it too much too soon?

she might already have one.

It is hardly an expensive gift so I can't see the harm in it. Chances are she will think it is cute and it will make her laugh.

Having a private joke can only be a good thing.

Good luck!

It's in expensive and very cute - I think she will love it. It's something to have fun with during the date, could bring a lot of laughs as you race to solve it first... it could be very fun.

If you like her, go for it!

Okay guys, I'll get it her. It's only a £10 gift and she seems to like it when I do cute gestures (non-gift like) anyway.

Question is, should I give this rubiks cube to her unopened, or just give her the cube? I feel like if I just give her the cube itself, it doesn't look like I've bought it as a gift, but something more personal? I'm overthinking this but just wondering

Just give her a brand new one in the package and tell her she has to figure it out before you get more serious or something.

Nice idea. We both said we had forfeits for each other for whoever loses at bowling tomorrow. I could play this gift into it and she has to solve it like you say if we are to get more serious haha

If you really want to impress her, buy her one of those keychain Rubik's Cubes with a key to a brand new car attached.

"Hey baby, you come here often? Can I, uh, buy you a car?"

All seriousness aside, she'll like the gift wrapped or not. You're showing her attentiveness. That's a good thing.

Along with attentiveness, throw in attractiveness, assuredness, aliveness and assertiveness and you've got all of the Five A's (attributes to help attract women).

You, sir, will be unstoppable. Let us know how the 3rd date goes, all the best.
