hi. i'm 16 and kinda over weight and as a result of this i have stretch marks on my butt, legs arms and hips. I am often so embassered that i won't even dare wear shorts to school. So i was wondering if maybe there was a cream or something that i could use.

If you find one, let me know! I've had some children, and I have an entire road map of stretch marks on my belly.

 

If you were smaller, and still had the stretch marks, would they bother you as much?

 

If you say no, then I think the issue is more with your size and confidence than it is the little marks. Talk to your doctor or nurse though, they might have something to help you with any/all/some of these concerns.

 

16 is such a tough age for the self confidence because it feels like all the other girls look so much better and seem to have it together more. Good luck.

Good point. I have a friend that is very sexy... but she has skin that gets stretch marks very easily. She lost then gained 5 pounds and that was it...After that she had very obvious/red stretch marks. And yes, though she is slim, they bother her VERY much.

I mean to say that you should realize that though your stretch marks may come from your weight.. a lot of it has to do with your skin type. So unless its worth being that insecure about your skin... don't overthink it or let it get you down much.

 

As far as the cream goes, there are creams out there... and they might help, but do not expect any miracles. They may eventually go away on their own. With weight loss or not.

I started getting stretchmarks about 3 years ago after I loss weight ,10lbs. I really dread their appearance and have tried different products to get rid of them. Recently ,I used this naturalis brand of stretch mark treatment cream on my stretch marks... respond very well notice an improvement on my skin.... much lighter in color :laugh: . I am happier to see the difference and feels a lot more confident more than ever. I looking forward to wear my two- piece swimsuit. :bunny:
