Hello everyone. I am sorry for my English, cause it's not my native language.

So.. the point is LDR:) I met my love in summer. We spent around 4 months together. Now we are 3 months apart, 6000 miles apart, 8 hours difference.

Everything is perfect, we are planning to be together, we still talk, skype.

Everything is perfect, except me.

It wasn't hard at the beginning, but it is killing me now...I don't even want to do anything, it is hard to study, to talk to people and pretend that I am ok, it's hard to enjoy my life. Sometimes it becomes easier - most of the times no.

And I am glad for everything that I have in my life. I have friends, family, education, boyfriend.

But I cant recognize myself anymore... Depression, crying, thoughts about him ALL the time..I fell myself so lonely. That makes me so weak.

I am extremely happy that I met him. I will go through everything for him.

It just the way I am felling for past 2 months..

I wish nobody fells the way that I do.

The loneliness is one of the hardest parts of having a long distance relationship.

If the relationship itself is good (outside of the distance), then it seems that your issue is more with filling your free time. You should focus on finding more things to make yourself happy. Pick up a new hobby, join a club, and focus on yourself. The loneliness will eventually hurt other parts of your life if you are unable to correct it now.

As a LDR veteran here, my 2 cents: it's easy to get totally engulfed in the LDR to over compensate for the physical miles apart. It can get kinda of obsessive and compromise other areas of life. Watch for that. The key is balance. IME hours a day on Skype or Viber can be unhealthy. Spend enough time together to keep the spark, but not at the expense of other relationships or important areas of life. Also plan time when you can be together with an eventual endgame. No substitute for being together in the flesh, and I don't mean just sexually.

LDRs are most certainly not easy. They are an investment - you need to be reasonably sure that the person is worth going through all that for.

Do you guys have a plan to close the distance? Are you making time for your hobbies and to see your friends?

Long distances relationships are very difficult. I was engaged and he moved back home after college. It was difficult and I missed out on a lot of things. Life doesn't have to end when you're apart. It's important to stay engaged with friends and your community.

OP, you need a local boyfriend. The reason it is so difficult for you is because you are apart.
