Recently I broke up with my girlfriend and now I'm single. I know is too early to hang out with other women but there is this girl she's 09/10 rating hot brunette, younger, she used to be my coworker but she got pregnant, got married and now she's divorced, I hung out with her years ago when I was married and she was single ( I know, I cheated on my ex wife) , we kissed but I didn't have sex with her back then, I was married and she didn't want to hang out with me again because of this.

Fast forward days ago she was at my workplace because her sister works there and I met her there again and later I texted her saying "Where are you? You already gone? I can't believe I've lost the chance of kissing you again" and she said "You missed what? Why? You have another chance...LOL" and I said again "Ok I'll ask you out again" and she replied "Ok call me later, bye!"

Guys is it best I ask her out to a nightclub or a bar? Even though I won't date her because she's a single mom. Don't get me wrong, I'm sorry to all single moms here but I had a single mom girlfriend in the past and it was the worst relationship I had in my life. I want to hang out with her, hook up and have fun but because she has a kid this turns me off! Maybe I should forget about her?

Leave the poor girl alone if you're not going to be serious with her. She's a single mom. She has enough on her plate already, just to be toyed with.

Ehn, she's playing with fire getting involved with you.

You're a cheater and now you want to mess around with a single mom? Just because she's a 9/10? That's gross. Neither she nor her kid need that kind of drama in their lives.

She's just got divorced, so I don't think she wants anything serious why wouldn't she?! Understand? LOL

Just because I cheated once it means now I'm a serial "cheater"!? OK

Definitely forget about her.

She is only going to develop feelings for you and you are going to dump her again as she has a kid.

YOU already know she has a kid, so just step away and save her a load of heart ache, don't you think she has enough on her plate without you messing her about and using her?

Drinks at a bar to catchup and escalate when you see it's appropriate. You've already kissed her before.

Single moms come with a lot of baggage. Ex boyfriend, ex husband, custodies, kids, emotional baggage etc. After a while, you will essentially have to play daddy to another man's spawn.

I don't advise dating a single mom. They are strictly only for a hookup here and there so just ask her out for drinks, escalate with her and get her back to your place or a motel.

Avoid getting attached or you will get sucked into all that baggage I mentioned earlier.

Yes I agree with you, I dated a single mom in the past, the worst relationship I had in my life! Dating single moms? Never again!

Wow single mom hatred here is unreal. I became a single mom at the age of 25 to one child, I get some guys will not date me because of that but I rather they were honest upfront about that then just use me as an hook up.

If she knew how you felt I am sure she would not go near you anyway.

When you text her to set up the date, let her know that you are NOT interested in getting involved and just want a hook-up. See what she says.

I agree with others that you sound like a shallow, superficial user of women. (9/10 rating? What guy over the age of 14 talks like this about women? and even then...) But some single moms don't want a relationship because they don't have the time, or she may realize you are not relationship material. She's a woman, capable of making her own decisions.

Be straight with her, and let her decide. The key here is you have to be straight with her. Not "sort of" straight. 100% straight shooter.

I am sorry, but you sound like a d*uche. Leave the poor girl alone if you're not going to be serious with her. She's a single mom. She has enough on her plate already, just to be toyed with.

99% of the women i meet online who just want to have sex with a guy and move onto the next are freshly divorced single mom's.

you make it seem like a women are children incapable of thinking for themselves.

OP, take her to a bar.

Then take her home.

Don't lie to her or tell her you want a relationship when you don't just to get some.

Possibly. The OP should go right ahead ONLY if he is entirely honest and tells her BEFORE sex that he does not want a relationship and just wants some fun. He isn't a bad guy if he does that.

However I don't agree that all the single moms just out of relationships just want sex. My best friend is on the verge of a divorce and has been cheating on her husband. The guy she is cheating with is a prize arsehole. He has two divorces behind him, is living off his current GF in her home as he cant afford his own as he is paying off two ex wives. he has a daughter who he never wanted: he told my friend this, that his ex wife tricked him and he got stuck with a kid because of her. Nice way to talk about your own child isnt it! The divorces are all the women's fault & he is the innocent party according to him.

And my best friend believes all this garbage. After 2.5 years of having an affair, he has made no attempt to leave his GF and plays hot and cold with my friend. It is obvious to anyone that he is just after sex from my friend, there is no way in hell he is going to take her on and live with her and her two children both aged under 5 and raise them to adulthood with her. He didnt even want his own flesh and blood daughter and he is not going to be a step dad for another 2 children.

Anyone can see it clear as day: she is a hook up to him, he hasn't left his gf in 2.5 years and he wont. Except my friend cant see it. She thinks they are going to sail into the sunset and is in love with him; conveniently avoiding the fact that he isnt making any move to leave his gf.

So not neccessarily true that single moms just want sex, my best friend would not leave a gap between her husband and her other man if she could. She wants a relationship with new guy.

As for the single mom hate, well he is entitled to his opinion. I wouldnt date a man with kids. The reason being I am not even sure if I want my own kids and i just dont want to be stuck with someone elses on weekends, etc. I am not that into kids to want to take on someone elses. It doesnt make me a single parent hater, just something I dont want to be involved in and that is my choice.

Yes, there are single moms out there that just want sex, no relationship as there are women out there childless that just want sex, no relationship too. Welcome to the hook up culture!

Guys like this are pretty much my life these days, with no honesty upfront that they have no intention of taking things further with me because I am a single mom. They want to go out with me because I am all the things you described her to be, superficial reasons, but that is it. It hurts... leave her alone.

I would be upfront with her about your intentions, just let her know that you want things to be casual and you aren't looking for anything serious. If she's ok with that, then you're good to go. If she's not, you'll find someone else. If you just lead her on for sex, you're just going to hurt her and the kid and you're going to feel guilty as hell.

My guess is that he doesn't want to do that, as he is relying on her having lingering feelings for him, so he can get what he wants.

She is the woman who dumped him when she found out he was married, so I doubt she will want "casual" with him now.

Folks, after doing a bit of clean-up, lets remember that all opinions are welcome here, but those opinions need to be expressed respectfully.

Also this thread is devoted to the OP's unique situation and not the general all men do this, all women do that. There are plenty of threads in the general section for those discussions. ~T
