it feels like sometimes it is a push and pull game of control, often when one is feeling insecure and the other is taking the other person for granted.

 

i think it happens when there is fear in the relationship, fear of losing the other person, fear of risking heartbreak...one person withdraws and stops giving...

 

it all feels like a game sometimes, testing eachother's feelings etc.

 

its unhealthy, i wish it could just be about two people trusting eachother, enjoying the love and getting on with their lives...

You're right,

 

It is a game in the end. I think one of the reason it happens is because people look for love in the wrong places. They desperately seek it from people who are unable to give it to them and try to prove them wrong.
