How to date girl from tennis clinic? [update: How do you make the 1st romantic move?]

One of the girls at this tennis clinic I go to is pretty cute and we've been talking during the weekly class for a while. One time we were talking instead of getting back on the court and the instructor said something like "you should go to a coffee shop"

 

My main problem is that when I talk to her pretty much everyone in the group can hear and she's known the instructor for years.

 

How should I ask her out? Should I ask her if wants to play tennis during the weekend (we are similar levels), ask her to lunch or dinner, or just ask for her number? How should I handle everyone around us?

Invite her to something definite:

 

 

"Would you like to do/see/go to so_and_so with me on x evening?"

 

If she says she'd like to, but she's busy, try to agree on an alternative time there and then.

 

 

Vague invitations invite vague responses.

There's a girl I've seen at a tennis class about once a week for a while and I finally asked her to play and go to lunch after and she said yes!

 

Obviously I couldn't care less about the tennis (although she is pretty much my level) and I'm interested in her romantically. I've been in a similar situation before where I invite a pretty girl to do some activity or lunch/dinner and then I don't know what to do after.

 

It's been a few years since I had a girlfriend and she initiated the 1st kiss. After that it was easy to be romantic with her, but with other girls I don't have a clue how to initiate something physical or just something to show we're more than just friends.

 

Any suggestions?
