A series of misunderstandings

It's ironic how a series of misunderstandings that you don't pay attention to at first, to which you don't give much significance, snowball and come to a head and before you know it you're wondering, "How did we get here?"

as a post-election american, the irony is not lost on me.

 

I guess it's best to keep your eyes open for those fuzzy little deal-breakers.

Infatuation tends to force its rose colored glasses on one.

 

Next time I'm going to take it one step at a time and proceed with caution.

 

It's unfortunate because falling in love and being in that honeymoon phase is what makes relationships so wonderful and fun and exciting.

 

I'm glad I'm rid of my ex's manipulative bull****. I deserve better. And I will find it.

 

After the breakup, I looked back and had no idea what was real and what wasn't. She knew what to say and when to say it, but she had ulterior motives and an entirely different agenda than what she claimed.
