I've been having such a hard time reading him and I just don't know who to talk to about it Now before you ask, we don't have a dating policy in my office and it's pretty much fair game. He's divorced (has been for quite some time), in his fifties. I'm single and in my early 30s. We've worked together for about 2.5 years and we've literally sat about 4 feet away from each other that whole time. For the first two years he rarely spoke to me (or anyone in the office for that matter) so I just assumed he wasn't a talker or just didn't like me. About 6 months ago, I guess something clicked and he started opening up to me. He admitted to me that he's really shy, and once I told him that I'm shy too, he REALLY opened up. He has an amazing sense of humor, he's told me about his past and his future plans and even gets a little flirty with me. All the things he's told me just make me like him more. I can't seem to figure out if he's interested in me or not. He never really talks to other people in the office and definitely doesn't flirt. Other coworkers have mentioned that it's amazing I've gotten him to open up. I don't know how I did this as he was the one who started talking. I'm going to start working in another office soon so we won't be looking at each other all day or have such close proximity. I just don't know what to do. Should I ask him if he likes me? Ignore it? I don't want to embarrass myself by misreading him. I really could use some advice!

You're moving to a different part of the office so if you don't act now you might always wonder what could've been...plus if you guys do hit it off you wont have to worry about dating someone you work in close proximity to He seems like he might be a subtle guy so maybe theres no way of knowing how he feels but it seems like he might be into you....def some very good signs Go out on a limb, be yourself and ask him if he wants to grab a coffee or drinks Good luck girl!
