I am taller than him and this makes me really self conscious. It doesn't bother him one bit and he wants to be with me but the height really bothers me for some reason. The sex is also really, really horrible but i really enjoy our chemistry its just perfect, our connection is perfect emotionally and personality-wise we just connect, its so good that i rather deal with the bad sex. Any girl dated a shorter guy, did this bother you?

If you are bothered then get rid and quit playing him along. Its not on and lets face it - its not like he is going to grow a few inches or you shrink... its planet earth we live in not Wonderland...

What makes the sex bad? The height difference? Maybe changing positions or changing things up a little?

 

But if it's just BAD and has no hope of getting better that "connection" isn't going to last.

 

If he's a great guy and the sex is great and your only issue is height, I'd say to stick it out and be more confident in yourself.

I'm glad that you have good chemistry, but you do have two major issues there:

 

1. The issue of his height, might be something you could get used to and adapt to, but I doubt that you will.

 

2. The sex issue might be something you could improve, but being as you describe sex with him as being "horrible" I doubt that too.

 

I just don't see how this relationship could be made to work in the long run.

I'm relatively tall too, the only exception a woman was taller than me was because of her heels. Otherwise very few except giants are. Why is it a problem? How is sex horrible? Maybe elaborate a bit your post.

Why would you put up with bad sex for any reason?

 

Every woman that I have had a connection with, the sex was amazing.

 

If you are just starting the relationship, get out. Yeah the sex may get better over time, but if it does not start out good, it has a long way to go.

I didn't have an issue with dating shorter guys until I had some negative experiences with some who were self conscious about their height.

 

Forget the height issues...why be with someone who is bad in bed?
