Etnyrequad Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Okay so long story short my girlfriend and I had an unexpected surprise this year and we are now at home with a sweet healthy baby girl heres the problem I ran into in the mother baby unit... one of her co workers came in to say hi (unexpectedly) and kept calling me her ex husbands name "carl" (for privacy concerns)she said it twice, I never corrected her but as it turns out the entire time she was working she never told the ladies she worked with that she was even divorced and that they all assumed that this was her and her ex husbands second child. I felt humiliated because they had been throwing baby showers for her at work and sending gifts home for her and not only do I feel humiliated I feel that our baby girl was humiliated as well. Thoughts? I can give more details if needed!
introverted1 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Congrats on the birth of your daughter. Some questions: Is your gf divorced from her ex? Do you and she live together? Are you on the birth certificate? Has paternity been established? I think you need to have a talk with your gf and find out why she has been keeping her divorce and your relationship a secret. 1
