Did casual relationship guy just admit he likes me? UK slang?

I am a Canadian living in Australia. I have been dating this Scottish guy casually for a couple of weeks. We have slept together multiple times and he is always cuddly, kissy, and very affectionate both whilst on dates (yes he takes me on dates - not just a hook-up... I think?) and especially after sex. Last night immediately after sex we started to cuddle/spoon and he was kidding my neck and said "God I fancy you!" ... What does this mean to guys in the UK? Does it just mean he is really attracted (lustful) to me or did he just admit he likes me/has deeper feelings?

We haven't talked about what we "are" yet and I don't want to rush it or scare him so I am waiting for him to bring it up... just wondering if this is him hinting that its more than just casual for him? As an aside, I ALWAYS stay the night. Everytime we meet I spend the night and we sleep together, cuddle, and in the morning he has to leave for work at 430am so he gets ready and then crawls onto the bed and kissing me goodbye on the forehead and lips and lets me sleep in and leave whenever I want. Not one of those wham-bam-thank-you-mam type hook-ups.

Any opinions are helpful

It's just a term for being attracted physically.

I definitely wouldn't read anything much into it.

Fancy is finding someone hot.

It's not something I'd read too much into I'm afraid!

Fancy usually means attracted in a sexual kind of way but if he said this after sex, I think it probably means the attraction is very strong. It does not mean he loves you. Quite honestly, you have to tell by a guy's actions if he is really interested in more than a casual relationship. He will start trying to make things more formal and defined and make it known to others too.

In my experience, guys will say things during lovemaking that they don't really mean, they just get carried away. If a guy says he loves you at that point, I'd take it with a pinch of salt.

Yeah only believe it means more when he says it when you're out & about doing non-sex stuff.

Aiight, I don't know what he meant, but it all sounds nice. And I'm super jealous that you've found yourself a man w a Scottish accent!
