Good friend casually dated a girl a few times, she's not into him, but she's into me.

I've gotta be kind of vague on details, but basically my friend met this girl at a party a couple of months ago and they went out on a couple dates. The most they ever did was make out, and after a few dates she realized she wasn't into him. They decided to just be friends around a month ago. It was her decision, not his. This past Halloween weekend we ran into each other at a party, and although we didn't talk much throughout the night, at the end she asked me to come home with her and we slept together. She messaged me on Facebook and said she'd be interested in us hanging out more but didn't want to offend my friend. I'd be on board if my friend wasn't in the picture, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

 

A little more context, I've known this friend for around 10 years and we currently live together. He never intended for things with this girl to be serious and he just wanted her to become a fwb. He also has another fwb currently. What would you guys do?

I wouldnt waste my time or risk my friendship over it. You have known him for ten years, you should already know what his reaction would be.

You're going to have to talk to him and go along with his wishes or else be prepared to move out. You can't be having her over and making him feel bad if he wanted her and never stopped wanting her, even if it was only for sex. You're old friends, so ask him about it. Maybe cease any activity with her until he has found another woman to date and maybe that would be the best time to ask him if he'd mind if you got together with the ex. He probably won't care as much once he has someone else.

 

Also, be careful with this woman because she is playing with fire here, and she could do it to you if that's how she is, too.
