Treato Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I was dating this guy for about eight months, we decided to end things because the fact that I'm friends with my two ex made him nervous and he didn't trust it. However I miss him like crazy but refuse to call him. We haven't spoke in 4 weeks yet he calls my mom , cousin and friends every other day. At first I didn't mind because I deleted everything that remind me of him and I kept busy. I don't understand why he's still in touch with my people if he don't want to be with me they aren't friends and when we were together they didn't talk as much well only when we would fight and they would get us back together. I asked my family not to mention me to him , they were confused why but respect my wishes . Has anyone ever been thru this?

Steven1 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Never been through it myself personally but I think as Kelley said, he misses you and wants to know what's happening. I think if he had insecurities about you being friends with ex's etc and then things ending, he may be trying to find out as well if anything did or is now happening with one of the ex's. If it still bothers you it may be best if you ask your family etc to not answer his calls. Having family in the middle of it can be an awkward scenario. I spoke to my ex's parents for a while after we broke up (I also used to work with my ex's dad before we split up, so we were good friends). But I also stopped speaking to them after a while and vice versa as it just felt as though it was becoming to awkward.

Regardless of what your goals are, getting over him or getting him back, your family's involvement isn't helping. Go NC and ask your family to support you by doing the same.

Today is the 32 day he called but I couldn't find the strength to answer. Problem is im confused I don't miss him as much as I use to . I started dating other people , I still dream about him and think one day well get back together. But truth is I don't know if I'm ready , so I'm gonna give it a couple of days and see what happens maybe I'll answer and we can start fresh.
