Did I make the right decision to not want to be in a relationship with this guy?

I met this guy at a party. He told me that he is in love with me the first day he met me and we made out on the first day that we met. I expressed feelings for him during the party and we had a strong connection during the party but I don't see myself being in a relationship with him. We kissed on the lips and he also kissed me on the cheek a lot and he told me that he loves me. He told me that I was the right girl for him and he told me that he wanted to be in a relationship with me. He seemed to be in love with me when he just met me. I feel like he was moving too fast. The problem is that he doesn't have a driver's license, a job and a car. He also smokes cigerettes a lot which is a turn off for me. I texted him after the party saying that I am not interested in a relationship with him and I prefer for me and him to be friends and he was ok with it. I prefer to be in a relationship with a guy that has a car, has a job and doesn't smoke cigerettes. I want to date other guys and see pick one that I want to be in a relationship with. Was it wrong of me to not want to be in a relationship with him because I have standards when it comes to deciding to be in a relationship with a guy?

You did the right thing.

This guy was hoping to find himself a sugarmama and you did not fall for it. If I were you I would not maintain a friendship with him. He will still want to take advantage of you somehow.

Hell no! The guy might have just been playing you to get you into bed or he is highly immature.

You did good. You're not a cold person. Always trust your instincts don't fall for nonsense talk.
