HumanMachine Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I was driving her home when she told me to go a different route than usual, I was confused but whatever.. went down a road and she said "this is (her exes) road, but i'm not going to tell you which house he lives in" erm ok? Later that evening she text me saying that she's missing her ex too much and is ending it. Whilst I'm completely fine with the situation, what she did before was rather weird.. Any thoughts? (Although it REALLY doesn't matter)

Typically, when you have strong feelings for someone you will find any excuse to talk about them or be close to them in some way. Unfortunately, you got caught in the crossfire. Perhaps this incident was a wake up call for her that she had crossed a line which is why she ended your relationship with you so shortly after it happened. She must have known deep down that it was unfair to you that she hasn't moved on yet. Sorry, that probably doesn't make you feel much better. 3

People who are in love can't stop wanting to talk about the object of their affections to anyone who will listen. That unfortunately includes their SOs. She just wanted to show you where he lived, as he was uppermost in her thoughts. I doubt she did this tour of her ex's road to hurt you, she was just oblivious, (unless of course she had a reason to hate you). 1

I don't know. if this was the case, why the "I am not telling you which address he lives at". that doesn't sound very oblivious to me. 2
