were both in our 30's and my girlfriend of 8 months has repeatedly broke up with me for a few days only to contact me again and want to talk it out. the break ups only last a couple of days before she or i contact her. I have no intention of seeing other women during this time but she always asks me if i have been with anyone else. i am too busy with work and the gym for that. I know she is insecure about past relationships.

is she testing my commitment to her?

Yeah been there. She's dishing out a form of abuse, its nothing to do with you purely her state of mind. (Unless there's something going on your not mentioning)

She's not suitable for a relationship, and the make up break up cycle will continue until she works on herself for a long period of time.

I really recommend ending it.

Don't know about testing commitment (she seems pretty intent on ending it from where I sit) but it would sure test my patience.

Next time point out that as its the xth time she has broken up this time she will be lucky. Block her on everything. Refuse to talk to her.

Oh and in the mean time make sure you take all of your stuff home with you each time you stay.

God that must be so boring for you.

Time to say OK and move on.

Oh dear lord she sounds like one of those "dramatic" ones... the ones that see that 2+2 make 365 with cherries on top...

There will be microphones in your pockets next.

She has issues.

You are going to get dumped over and over and over again until you finally walk away.
