As another anxiety sufferer I will be honest with you and say this. You won't be able to kick your anxiety within the space of a week, a month, possibly even a year of serious effort. So no, you can't change just like that even if you want to. Your anxiety will still be there, still driving you crazy. The only thing you might be able to do for a little while is suppress it. But that's not fixing the problem and it will blow up in your face again. The best thing you can do is sort out your anxiety, that entails permanent lifestyle changes and some therapy to get to the bottom of it. Until you do this it will continue to play havoc in your relationships with others. Anything else is just denial. Sorry. 1
