AvaSylvian Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I had a crush on my manager at my last job, but I ended up quitting a few months ago. I recently found him on social media and messaged him. Our conversation lead to finding out that the feeling was mutual as far as our attraction for each other. He told me to let him know when I'm free so we can meet up. I am so extremely sexually attracted to him that I'm afraid I'm going to mess this up. He doesn't seem in a rush about anything and it seems like he genuinely respects and likes me as a person, and not only looking for sex. I respect him, too but I've been abstinent for the past year and a half, and he's like the only guy I've been this sexually attracted to. I want to see if something serious can develop between us, but I don't think that will happen if I pursue something sexual right away. How do you take it slow when the attraction is so strong?

By being honest with yourself about your intentions. If you want a sexual experience, be honest about that. Ain't nothing wrong with getting an itch scratched, but you have to know your truth before taking off your panties. If you want something deeper, conduct yourself in a way that brings about that result. It will require discipline--you have to determine if you're capable of the level of discipline required to achieve your goals. If you aren't, then you're going to mess this up and wind up further from your goal than you are today. It might not be time for you to be in a relationship if you're struggling with being able to keep your libido in check when presented with someone who piques your interest. Thank you, you're right. That was the reality check I needed. I need to reflect on some things and calm down. Edited October 20, 2016 by darioadalia
Sunkissedpatio Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 How do you eat 2 cookies instead of two rows of a pack? Will power. You have it, use it. Think of your goal, that's your motivation. ; 3

It's also called, getting a good toy and using it often!
