kinder Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 What do you think is too much of an age gap? For example: 24 year old and 38 year! Is 14 years difference way to much?
VirginiaBob Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 hehe, my wife's cousin is 27 and her husband is 66.
Kat Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I have known people who have a 8 year gap work and I have known people with an 8 year gap to fail. I have known people with a one year gap work and I have known people with a one year gap fail. get my driift
A Fly onThe Wall Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I use the 10 year rule... I think that if both don't grow up watching the same cartoons than you will have many more things that don't mesh in your lives.. my 2 cents worth
clandestinidad Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 The music minister at a church I went to many years ago was 10-15 years YOUNGER than his wife and it seemed to work........ until he had an affair (not sure if she was younger or older though )
jen_jen_heartbroken Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I use the 12 year rule. If someone is old enough to biologically be your parent, then that's a bit weird. Although a significant age gap is much more important if one of the people is under 30.
RecordProducer Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I don't think age difference is a deal maker or breaker. I personally am not attracted to younger guys. I like them in their 40-s. They're mature, wise, and sexy. Besides, I am physically not attracted to guys in their 30s. Plus they all think that the whole life is ahead of them and they want to live it to the fullest, a syndrome I experienced when I was in college. Not to mention that the older guys like me a lot!
