Whynottellthetruth Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Why is it so hard for people that care for us to tell the truth? Are you truly letting someone know you for you if you're not being honest in what you share. I really need some advice here!
Author Whynottellthetruth Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 When do people stop playing games and become honest with one another?
confusedgirlfriend11 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I think everyone plays games in one way or another. Some do it all the time and it's intentional. And other's do it without realising. Life is a game of survival. Sometimes you have to 'play' to survive. Does that make sense?
Author Whynottellthetruth Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 I agree there but I believe as people we could accomplish so much more by being open with one another.
ExpatInItaly Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Because the truth often hurts. Can you give us some context? What is the lie?
stillafool Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I think people start being honest with each other when they fall in love and want to be together or married.
sooshi Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 With increased self-awareness, you are honest with yourself and you're able to discern what is right and what is not right for you at any given moment. When you're honest with yourself, you're able to be honest with others. 2
Author Whynottellthetruth Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 I agree to that as well, I'm just so lost for words right now
Author Whynottellthetruth Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 She lied about her past as far as her marriages and divorces. She never gave me an opportunity to know the real her and I'm left picking up the pieces
