hawks1988 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 So I met a girl on Match a few weeks ago. We talked for about 10 days and went out on Wednesday. She is 33 I'm 40. We went do dinner and had great conversation. She texted me when I was on the way home and told me she had a great time. We chatted more that night and again into Thursday and some today. So.....my question is.....how much texting is too much? We had a nice time together, the conversation went great, we kissed goodnight on the lips (no making out, nothing awkward)...but this is where I usually mess up around after the first date. How much texting is too much? Do I need to text her every day and say hi? We have plans to go out next week. I don't want to seem overbearing or controlling, you know? I'm not one that needs to text someone 24/7. So how much is too much?
Space Ritual Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 How about try NO texting... Texts are so impersonal and in a lot of cases they do more harm than good, simply because it is very hard to decipher exact tone through text. I suggest that you just be you and have conversations face to face or give her a call tomorrow I know, old fashioned huh? I hate texting. I always prefer direct conversation, but that's just me. I'm sure someone with more insight into Text ettiquette wil be along soon. Good luck.
VeveCakes Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 mmm I would definitely say do not not text her! She will think you are uninterested. Girls these days expect texts if you are interested. If you arent a big texter maybe just let her know that you are not big on texting so if you take a while to reply thats why.
