What's the best way to meet people when you're not in school anymore?

I find it so hard these days. As far as I know the best way to do it is to either do online dating or just hope you get lucky when you go out with friends at the bar or club or house parties or something.

Meh idk I guess I feel like it's easier to find something more authentic or things in common with someone you had similar classes with as opposed to a bar or club where people sometimes tend to go just to hook up and stuff. I know that's not always the case but eh I guess I feel a lot of the time it is.

In that case, get to know people through a mutual love of a sport or hobby. Could be anything from triathalon running to photography.

I don't see why you would think that -- the people at a bar and the people in your classes are both just arbitrary collections of people. And plenty of people met at bars and entered relationships long before OLD was around.

I think that there are bars and bars.

 

Going to your local pub where you know a number of people is much more likely to yield results than a bar where you know nobody.
