I have been reading alot of peoples stories on here, and most say that their ex left them for no reason, the same here. But right before my ex broke up with me she told me how much she love and how no one could ever take my place, stuff like that. But then all of a sudden she breaks up with me saying she is still young and want to have fun.

From reading other stories on here its almost the same situation ( their bf or gf tells them how much they care about them but unexpectedly breaks it off just that quick).

My question is why do they do that? Why do they tell you how much they care about but then break up with you for no real reason, leaving you stunned? Its just something ive been

I'd like an answer too, but I guess it's one of those unanswerable questions...or perhaps the real answer is too complicated. :p

Why is it that someone can tell you he (or she, whatever your case may be) is a retard for dumping you, because you've been so perfect, so wonderful?! It's not as though it changes a damn thing. What's done is done. Arrrrrrrgh.

Heck, I'm young too, and I'm not perfect, but I wasn't about to use one of those "I'm young & I need to be with other people" on my ex. I thought he was fantastic. Guess I was wrong.

Sigh. I guess my point is, there is no good answer. Leave it all up to the universe, I suppose.

I agree, its a crazy thing. How can they be in floods of tears and not wanting to see you go as they dont know what they will do when you are not there and then deceide to dump you forever, thus NEVER seeing you again? Its crazy!!

I think it's because you're available. Even though you have a nice car, wouldn't it be nice to have a nicer one? Only when your nice car is gone and your left walking or taking the bus do you really come to appreciate what you had.

Make them walk for awhile. It's good for the soul.

That's good advise. My ex cried a river when she broke up with me. She said her heart is breaking and how much she is going to miss me and that she doesn't think she'll ever find someone who treated her as well as I did. She said most girls would probably think she's crazy for leaving me. I said, then why are you doing this?! She said that she's not in love with me anymore and that the passion is gone. All her BS about singing my praises as she was breaking up with me just made me feel worse and more confused. I think it boils down to a maturity thing. I would never lead a person on for so long then quit on them when the going got tough. My ex was 24 going on 19.
