I found a disconsonance between many people's views on making the first move and desperation.

Men present days generally preferred women making the first move. Few women (and few men) viewed that chasing the other gender is a portayal of weak will and desperation.

In all fairness, I personally think that whoever who make the first move is bound to raise the other person on the pedestal. What do you think?

And honestly, men, what makes you think of a woman who's deperate?

Honestly, I would love for a woman to hit on me since I'd know for sure she has high interest from the start. And if I find her attractive & like her personality than all the better.

I think you must be single, a lot and for long periods of time.

I am not sure that it matters. It has been about 50/50 for me. I really don't mind either way.

Usually when a women hits on me, I already knew she was into me anyway. In a large portion of those situations, it was just a matter of time before I was going to hit on her anyway.
