When should the girl start initiating dates? Say you (a guy) have planned four dates in a row.. would you want the girl to initiate one?

Start whenever you want to see a guy, but if I've asked a woman on 4 dates I am thrilled if she asks me out. After 3-4 dates, I do start looking for her to take some initiative rather than just reciprocate. If not outright ask me out, I look for references to future plans, her paying, some signal she is actively rather than passively investing.

Ask him out.

After 3 dates I want to see some initiative on her part of suggesting dates as well as initiating communication.

I wold say there is no time limit you can even do it after 1st date. It wont hurt... not sure why you would want to wait.

As a matter of fact it can only hurt you if you dont initiate it after 3-4 dates because the guy may think you are not interested in him that much and may move on to another girl if he has one lined up.

Heck i have moved on from girls after initiating texts 3-4 times in a row and not getting some initiation from her.

I would say yes, but it depends on what exactly you've done so far to reciprocate interest.

When I was dating, I would generally initiate the 3rd or 4th date, plan and pay. A woman needs to do some reciprocating so the guy doesn't feel like he's doing all the work. Sure, she's accepting dates, etc., but initiating some will be a clearer demonstration of interest.
