Ilovelifeforwhatcome Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 We haven't met in person because he lives far away, I am visiting him for a day though. We Skype and text. We always talk about what we want in a relationship: not pointing out other good looking guys/girls, appreciating each other, communicating when something is wrong, wanting affirmations and wanting human contact (cuddling, making out etc). Is this the talk of friends or potential relationship material? I never really talk to guys that I'm not interested in about these kinds of things.
CarrieT Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 You haven't met yet so don't project a "relationship" where one doesn't exist yet. All those things you talk about is what most people want so you are filling in a desired partner in your head and heart without the benefit of Real Time Interaction. Wait and meet and see how you get along in person. 1
Shanex Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Until the first encounter, you can't call it a relationship. You may flirt 'virtually' but meeting in real life for real life activities is when dating and in all likelihood, relationships begins. Take it easy.
Versacehottie Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I think a virtual relationship as you've described can only loosely be called friends--anything more is quite the stretch. Wait until you meet to think about the future.
Buddhist Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 You're doing the female thing and reading into stuff. It would well be nothing more than idle chat. Until you meet and actually do those things assume nothing at all. Some people find it easier to open up to a stranger over chat than someone they've met face to face.
