JOkER2 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 So I was at work and I asked this customer if she needed help. She asked me how much this one product was. I told her the price which was expensive, so I told her I would check to see if we had coupons. She responded 'thank you love, I appreciate that.' She then asked me about another product. I didn't know about it. I said I can look it up for you. She said that's ok I can just google it. She then left my section. I looked it up for her anyway. She came back and I said 'I'm so glad you came back' she had a big smile and said in a flirty tone 'oh yeah' I told her I looked up the products for you and she responded 'you are just too cute!' what does everyone think?
carhill Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 She likes the coupons. What I usually do in these instances, due to decades of interaction with customers and vendors, is watch how the person interacts with others. If uniform, I'm one of billions. If different, different. Then, ha, I check to see if they're married.
surferchic Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 She's being deliberate. Females who say stuff like that know what they're doing. She may me friendly, but she was being flirty as well. As a female,I'm friendly but they're are somethings you just don't say when interacting with strangers...e.g. "you're just too cute"...come on. Question. Would it matter either way at this point?
smackie9 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I have seen women and men flirt with strangers with no intention of interest. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it is common place. Flirting doesn't always has to be suggestive, some do it for fun, amusement or endearment. 1
smudge21 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Wouldn't look too much into it, other than a bit of friendly flirting (enjoy the ego boost). If she comes back sooner rather than later, and starts chatting again, then maybe there's more there.
mortensorchid Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 You were in a retailer, she wants to make sure you buy products from them. That's 85% of it. The key is to find her when she is not on the job, but that's harder to do. But I feel that way about guys who are doing just that when I encounter someone while shopping and they obviously work there (and they are strait).
