kumar123 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Hi All. I had a third date scheduled for tonight which was canceled due to the guy being sick. He did apologize for the short notice (he told me in the morning) and asked if we can reschedule. I told him to let me know so I will await his response. I've dated a ton this year and have had mostly bad or indifferent experiences so I think I'm really nervous that this guy isn't interested and is blowing me off. I met this guy 2 weeks ago at an event and we clicked right away. We actually went on 2 dates in a 4 day period which is a lot to me. Our first date lasted 4 hours and the second date lasted 6 hours. We made out at the end of each date and honestly I feel like we really hit it off. Our last date was Friday so it hasn't been that long since the last date. Just checking with you guys if I'm over thinking or should have my guard up? I've had so many dating experiences that have not gone well that I feel like I tend to assume the worst.
MidwestUSA Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'd consider morning to be plenty of notice if your date was for that evening. In the grand scheme, he was pretty considerate. There's a bug going around here right now; I'd give him the benefit of the doubt about being sick. If he doesn't contact you to reschedule, yes, he's a flake. 2

I was surprised he said "short notice" as the morning was enough time for me. I hope you are right. He did friend request me on Facebook a couple of days ago (which I'm not used to with guys at all) which made me feel like he planned to see me again at some point. 1
