It just happened to me on an online dating app & since I gave her my number I haven't heard from her. She said when the time is right she'll text me & that she doesn't like giving her number to everyone.

You have no way to contact her, but she makes you think she will contact you so that you will leave her alone. An interested woman will have no problem giving you her number. I had this same trick done to me enough back in my clubbing days. None of the women who ever took my number actually called, so I stopped giving it out. Yeah, I'm not expecting to hear from her again. I gave her my number so the ball is in her court now to message me even through the dating app. I'm not doing the whole double message thing when getting no reply.
