What would you think if you're a grown woman and a man says this to you???a man you "met" on OLD a few days ago and have yet to meet in person?

Posted

I would think it's his way of saying 'good night'.

'Good night, hope you sleep well'

'Good night, sweet dreams'

'Good night, don't let the bed bugs bite'

I wouldn't jump to interpret it as 'Good night, get some beauty sleep; from your pics, you look like you really need it'

No big deal.

Have you been complaining that you're tired?

Hadn't thought of that, excellent!

Another thought, I've found that as I get older, I find myself saying things my parents used to say. I know, I know.

You're overthinking.

There's not much to that statement on its own. It was either meant in a silly way or in a concerned way (if you've been staying up later than usual or getting up earlier than normal)

He's also told me he's "obsessed" with me and thinks about me all the time. It's been a few days. He's really sweet with words, but isn't that too much? And the don't go to bed late felt a bit intrusive.

I think you're overthinking it, but I do that too. A guy on OLD would always say to me "Be good" and that was irritating me, so my brother said, what do you want him to say to you, "be naughty". So I thought good point and taken, so don't overthink this.
