There are things that you can't say to your significant other since to express them would cause drama. These can be anxiety issues, uncertainties or minor annoyances, things not worth fighting about.

So this thread is for everyone to express themselves since getting them off your chest can help people to let them go or to cope. If people wish to provide support or encouragement, that would be fine too.

I'll go first.

Why is it that when we're together, everything works but when we're apart, I have my doubts?

Ah yes, I'm a strong proponent of keeping some of our thoughts to ourselves.

So turning the question back to you, why is it that you have doubts? What things happen (or don't happen) which make you unsure?

We're in an LDR, flying back and forth between continents. The effort can be exhausting and frustrating. When we're together it's incredible. When we're not together, it can be a challenge.

I think it's incredibly damaging if one spouse drops the D word into the middle of an argument. If divorce is on the table, it inhibits other constructive solutions.

One of my least favorite things my ex used to do, though she did eventually get her wish ;) ...
