He was being a jerk and I was so angry I called him out on it, and now I feel like I should apologize to him. :(

I think it would've been better if he wasn't a friend.

Anyone been in this position?

Why do you feel bad about calling him out on his crap? How is he suppose to grow if nobody challenges him to be a better person?

It sounds to me like you're a true friend.

Were you mean about it or something?

Yes, I don't get mad often but when i do I'm very mean. :(

Sounds like you are regretting being too harsh. But you should be proud about looking out for a friend.

Next time, call out in a non-judgmental way.

Pro tip: Men get over stuff like this a lot easier then women. We typically don't have a "Rolodex" and file away some mean thing someone said to us once, the way women tend to do. That's how we can be complete *******s to one another and still be best buds.

My guess is he will forget all about it before you do.

Did you patch it up yet or are you still not talking too much?

We've started talking, but it's all very polite. I don't know if I should bring it up to clarify I was wrong to be so mean, or to wait it out and never mention it again.

Men are usually more direct than women. If he doesn't seem upset, he likely isn't, so don't be hard on yourself.
