Phoenix_T Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Hi has anyone ever tried the get/text your ex back systems ? There are so many different variations on the net, all that you need to pay for, but just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried them and if they work or not ? Thanks in advance. Just going through hell at the moment.
basil67 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I haven't tried any systems, but I'd imagine they are scams which, if they work, are based purely on how your ex felt about you anyway. If she's hurting badly about the breakup, then there's a chance you can get her back if you address the issues which broke the relationship in the first place. However, if she has completely turned against you, no amount of systems will persuade her to return. So, what happened? I assume she ended it - what went wrong for her?
fromheart Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Hi has anyone ever tried the get/text your ex back systems ? Just going through hell at the moment. I had a look at a few example online out of curiosity, texting your ex the sort of things suggested, will just reaffirm to them that you are the needy, low self esteem person they're better off without. If you've been dumped, do not reach out to them at all. Let them know you wont settle for anything less than a romantic relationship and move on. No contact ever. If you were the dumper, reach out to them once and let them know you want them back. Then await a response, and keep moving on in the meantime. The key is always to move on as best as possible, and take care of yourself. That's pretty much a heal all and solve all. If someone doesn't want the best in you, they really were not the one.
jen1447 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Most 'systems' for getting back someone who's fallen out of love w you involve tricking them into thinking you've gotten back the characteristics they loved along w a healthy ration of self-respect. Since lies aren't sustainable, they rarely work in the long term, no, and almost never work in the short term anyway bc about the least qualified person to go off blowing romantic smoke up someone's butt is a person in the middle of emotional turmoil. You're much better off working on acceptance and trying to integrate any lessons you learned from the experience going forward.
ChickiePops Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Yup, I tried one back in the day. They are scams. They basically just say to go NC for a month, then send a text to try to make your ex feel nostalgic. Most of them admit upfront that the methods are unlikely to work unless your ex was predisposed to want you back anyway. The success rate is extremely low. Don't waste your money. I got my ex back and am currently engaged to him. You know why? Because it's been 2 years since we broke up and we've both made major changes. The problems that we had before..the reason for the break up..they're not problems anymore. We didn't break up for other people or because we lost feelings, our break up was circumstantial. That is the ONLY way you can get an ex back and it is very, very rare. My previous ex was different..I was on and off with him for 5 years because I refused to give him up. I did everything to try to win him back and he would sleep with me and then dump me again, over and over. 2 months after I stopped, I met my current man. Don't waste your time and money trying to try to trick or guilt someone into coming back. Move on and find a new person. 1
