Hermus Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Eight months ago a girl I met through the internet invited me over to her place. I slept over and there were plans to see her again. However, due to a lack of time on her side that didn't materialize. In the end I got impatient and things went sour between us. Afterwards I dated a few other women, but couldn't get her from my mind completely. So a few months ago I texted her to ask her how she was doing. She texted back and acted like she didn't even know who I was. Yesterday night all of a sudden I got a phone call and it was this girl. She said she missed me a bit. I told her that I was willing to see her again, but that I was watching a movie with my friends. Asked if it was okay if I called her back today. She said it was fine and that was that. Afterwards I sent her another text message and once again she acted like she didn't know who I was. Now she is denying she even called me, while I spoke to her on the phone. What I'm wondering about is what she is trying to accomplish with her weird behaviour. Since I'm still considering giving things a shot, should I call or should I just leave her and go on?
Versacehottie Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I think she called the wrong guy by accident. Well very possibly. I think she has been too flakey, not into you enough by any means for you to give her a try. Keep moving and good luck 1
Author Hermus Posted August 20, 2016 Author Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) But then the question is why if she found out, instead of hanging up immediately, she tells me she misses me and then denies having ever called. Would be more logical if she either would have hung up immediately or would just never have texted back and didn't pick up the phone, instead of putting up a show and acting weird. That's what I would do as a guy. Edited August 20, 2016 by Hermus
elaine567 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 My guess is that when you called/texted and she denied knowing you, she was with some other person, that could have been a girl friend, her mother, her father??? Someone who she didn't want to admit to knowing you in front of for some reason, but of course it could have been some other guy... When she called you, she was free to speak freely. 1
Author Hermus Posted August 20, 2016 Author Posted August 20, 2016 Another option I could think of is that she was looking for a hookup. When I wasn't readily available she might have called someone lower on the list of potential candidates. 1
smackie9 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 since it's been months you may have been her last option for a hookup or she was just bored.
