Passing thought

Haven't even posted in a few years.. was just driving home after dropping off my gf. Had a thought of my ex who would have called me faster than my current gf. We havent talked for 1 or 2 years ??? Cant really remember hahaha.

 

It is just super wierd how what was the biggest trauma of.my life is barely a passing thought. It was a lifetime ago. Time passes. You will all be fine. Believe me. Even if it seems incomprehensible right now.

 

Strick NC will accelearte the recovery process. It will happen anway. But NC will definitely cut off a few months or years ..depending on the person. Took me about 6 to 7 months to recover after a 8 year rs.

 

NC was my religion and i was on this forum ALL the time. It saved me. thank you everyone.

So freaking true. My ex is now a passing memory. I'm like ex who? That guy? I dated him? I can't remember a lot of it now. NC was my religion too, and these boards helped so much. That relationship doesn't even seem like it happened. I read over my old threads, and it seems like another person was making those threads.

Thanks so much for posting this. I feel like I'm going through the biggest trauma of my life right now, so really appreciate a perspective of someone who's been there, done that, after a much longer relationship than I have. Couldn't be happier for where you are in your life. Big congrats!!!!
