Coliver Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I've gone out with this guy twice, really great and we definitely click! The day before he left to go Ibiza for the weekend he texted saying how next time he will take me somewhere nice (for a date), he also texted me the morning of Ibiza making general chit chat. He got back from Ibiza yesterday, so I messaged him today just asking how his holiday was (I hate being the one to text first, but he always initiates the contact and dates) Admittely it's only been a few hours and still no reply? I just don't see how he would have lost interest over the few days he was away and I'm suprised he never text me first anyway! Help?!
smackie9 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Relax.....he just got home from his trip. Most want to run errands, do laundry, take a nap or he went to work......obviously he's busy. 3

Sit back and observe while keeping busy with your life. He's just gotten back from traveling and needs to regroup/refocus. You reached out once, he's been reminded. Let him pick up the ball if he's going to. Admittely it's only been a few hours and still no reply? -- I might guess that since he's been traveling, he's got things to catch up on at work. 1
smackie9 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 BTW you are being a little obsessive for only being out with the guy twice. 2
Mrin Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 One word: detox Or is Ibiza not as fun as it used to be? 1
ExpatInItaly Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Girl. Chill. You've only been out with him twice and it's only been a few hours since you sent your message. Why are you already assuming he's lost interest? 3
Gloria25 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 One word: detox Or is Ibiza not as fun as it used to be? I don't know, maybe he took a pill with Mike Posner? Girlfriend, if he went to Ibiza, guaranteed he got some action while over there. Ok, sorry, don't wanna make you paranoid. Like others said, give him a few days. I'm here wondering what dude is up to also. Wondering if he's recovering from his "guy" visit last week; officially done with me; or, putting me off cuz his "visitor" last week took care of his D. :/ 3
Sunkissedpatio Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Have you been to Ibiza? Trust me when I tell you this: he'll need a week to recover from the longest hangover of his life. He will be in no shape to talk to you yet. Sit tight, he'll come around 3
Sunkissedpatio Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I don't know, maybe he took a pill with Mike Posner?/ Ok now that was really :lmao: 1
Author Coliver Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Thanks guys! I know it sounds a bit obsessive - just cause I've had bad experiences in the past! But I also have gathered that he is probably 'recovering' I can imagine the kind of 3 days he has had...! Still nothing as of yet, but your advice was good! I'll sit tight, I'm sure he will come around!

But don't let bad experiences have you overreact. 1
