NewfieEd Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Hi, I recently broke it off with a girl I was seeing. I love her and she knows it but she was always sending texts while covering her phone, having it face down so you couldn't see who was writing etc and getting mad if I questioned it. So I just figured she was probably seeing others in the background. She sends me some texts and snapchats but I usually don't reply. Today I was talking to another girl from our small home town and she wrote me and said " I heard you got your eyes on another girl" . I didn't respond and she never wrote after. What does all this mean? Did I look into her behaviour too much, (late night texting, covering her phone etc) or is she just jealous now I am talking to other girls? Just wondering what you guys think. Should I give her another chance ?
AT15 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Usually, where there is smoke there is fire. Now, if you are insecure and have issues with trust then I would tell you to take a breath and asses. However, I think you are following your 6th sense. So, I would ask her if she is cheating.
sugarpuss Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I don't know, it's hard to know without knowing both you and her. I've had guys overreact and think I was texting other dudes when really I was just shopping online, or checking work emails. I'd get mad when questioned because I don't think simply using my phone late at night should warrant a bunch of questions about who I'm texting. Insecure guys always did this to me. Regardless, it seems like y'all have some trust issues. Whether they're warranted or not is another story. If I were you, I'd probably have tried to get some concrete evidence before breaking it off, but sometimes you just gotta go with your gut.
bubbaganoosh Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 She's jealous and if I were you I would stay with the no contact. If she hides her phone it's for a reason. She sound like she might want you as a plan B back up. That's a no no.
