Traveler11 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 My ex broke up with me several months ago but we continued to talk and text until the middle of May. I decided to do the no contact rule because I was hurting inside knowing that he didn't want a relationship with me. Exactly 2 months into the no contact i see that he accepted a friends request that I sent him several months ago when we were together. He is not a facebook person, hardly has any friends on there, rarely post and only to respond to someones questions. Never "likes" so i don't even know why he would accept my request from such a long time ago. Do you you think this is his way of trying to communicate with me? I still love him and miss him terribly. Since he accepted the request, i started to think more of him and miss him and wish that everything would be ok with us again. I miss his friendship. I have dated other men during this time, but he is the only one i want to be with. I so much want to contact him but now its been almost 3 months since we spoke. I don't know what to think of this or what to do.
Blanco Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 If he really wanted to be with you, he would do more than accept a friend request. Sorry. Delete and block him. 1
Giggles666 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I agree with Blanco. Block and continue to move on.
Marc878 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Just wishful thinking on your part. Move on like he has.
mg101 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 He just wants to maintain some connection for his own benefit. Block him. Trust me. I just got a text apologyb2 months after the fact. A bunch of hallow words probably due to him hating that I've blocked and ignored him. It's a powerv and control thing. If your guy wants you, he'll do way more than accept a request. This is only allowing him space in your head. Rent free. Evict him. 1
