I have gone through sad times, excited to be dating someone times and realize that I don't appreciate the single times enough. I am going out with some single girlfriends of mine to hang out at the beach and celebrate 4th in style. If love is going hit me, it's going to hit, if I am going to continue to meet dumb guys, that will continue, but I am not going to let it affect my happiness. Just wanted to say to everyone, you have to remember to enjoy life. It's only temporary...

Most of that time, I have had a positive attitude and used it to start my own business, complete my MBA and have a ton of adventures. Sure, I have probably wanted a boyfriend to share that with for 99% of those 7 years but I also know how short life is and that I don't want to be bitter, party of 1. It either happens or it doesn't and there is not a lot you can do but appreciate the fact that you get to wake up and experience another day.

Author kellyp1 Posted June 30, 2005 Author Posted June 30, 2005 The Dodgers did manage to pull in a win yesterday though against the Padres so they are only I think 5-1/2 games back. Angels broke their winning streak but are still way up on Texas. Soccer is a fun sport to watch. Good luck to your team. Sorry if the sports talk is driving everyone crazy. Having a team though can be very therapeutic. I am looking forward to my trip this summer to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton for Dan Marino's induction. Again, having interest in sports and being able to talk the talk has opened doors for me in meeting guys (on the other side, knowing enough to get into an argument has scared the less brave ones away). My column was called ChicksPicks. Good times... Thanks for the props! Maybe we will have to go to a game sometime. I have my Dodgers echo megaphone!

Awesome... at my old job the chicks always won the weekly football pools and NCAA tournaments. You know how? They chose according to colors. Life isn't fair... A game sometime?
